Description[edit | edit source] Serves: 4 hungry people or 6 as a brunch dish Cook time: 45 Ingredients[edit | edit source] 2 tbsp butter 6 bread slices 1½ cup cheese, grated 6 eggs 1½ cups milk ½ tsp dry mustard Directions[edit | edit source] Preheat oven to 250 °F. Spread butter on bread & cut into small cubes. In casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes and cheese. In a bowl, beat together egg, milk and dry mustard; pour over bread; stir gently. Let stand at least 10 minutes. Bake 40–45 minutes or till set in center.
