Chicken Pandan is a Thai delicacy that is loved by many all over the world. It is extremely flavourful and yet easy to prepare and can be made with a set of simple ingredients. As the name suggests, the main ingredients of this dish are pandan leaves and chicken which is when combined in the right way gives off flavours that will indeed be a treat for your tastebuds! Here is a recipe of Chicken Pandan served at Berjaya Langkawi Resort, which you can prepare from the comfort of your home.

Ingredients

·        Chicken Thigh                                       500gm

·        GarlicChopped                                     80gm

·        Lemon Grass                                       80gm

·       Oyster Sauce                                  1 Tbl Sp

·         Soy Sauce                                        1 Tbl Sp

·        Yellow Curry Powder                          1 Tbl Sp

·        Chicken Powder                                 1 Tbl Sp

·         White Pepper                                     1 Tbl Sp

·         Sesame Oil                                        1 Tbl Sp

·        Pandan Leaves                        

Preparation Method

1.     Clean and debone the chicken-thigh and remove the skin.

2.     Cut the chicken in small pieces

3.     Wrap the chicken together with all the ingredients and marinate for 1 to 2 hours

4.     Deep Fry the chicken in hot oil until it turns brown and crispy

5.     Serve hot with sweet tamarind sauce.
