  1. Heat frying pan add ½ stick margarine sauté the onions until tender.
  2. (do not burn) remove from heat.
  3. Add flour and milk gradually to make a thick sauce.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add chopped chicken, and egg yolk.
  6. Combine all ingredients.
  7. Grease pie dish and set aside.
  8. Mix bread crumbs with the other ½ stick of margarine.
  9. Press this mixture in the bottom and side of a 9" pie dish.
  10. Fill with chicken and onion mixture.
  11. Garnish top with grated cheese.
  12. Bake for about 30 minutes in moderate oven 350°F / 180°C.
