Description
Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 12-ounce package frankfurters, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 16-ounce can chili without beans
- 1 15-ounce can kidney or pinto beans
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 5 to 6 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
Directions
- Combine onion and frankfurters in 10-inch skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add chili, beans, chili powder, salt, mustard and pepper sauce. Cook, covered, 5 minutes longer or until bubbly hot. Stir in sour cream. Serve over beds of fluffy rice.
