- Makes 4 to 6 servings
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 tsp chili powder
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ tsp oregano, crushed fine
- 2 cans tomatoes with juice (16 oz each)
- Brown ground beef and onions; drain.
- Stir in chili powder, garlic and oregano.
- Chop tomatoes and add along with juice.
- Simmer 2 to 3 hours.
