Jazz up that rice Krispies to make it more appealing to your kids, because milk isn't the only thing you can add to it!
Ingredients[]
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cups Peanut butter
- 8 cups rice krispies
- 1/2 cup butterscotch pieces
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions[]
Mix Sugar and syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add Peanut butter and stir until smooth. Pour the Peanut butter and syrup mixture over cereal. Mix quickly and thoroughly. Transfer in a greased pan and pat compact. Sprinkle the top with butterscotch and chocolate chips. Use a spoon to lightly press down butterscotch and chocolate into the cereal. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. When ready to serve, cut into small bars.
