- 4 cups apple cider
- ½ cup sugar
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 tsp whole allspice
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 4 cups pineapple / orange juice
- 4 cups dry red wine
- Place apple cider, sugar, cinnamon sticks, lemon slices, allspice and cloves in a large saucepan and heat over medium high heat for 20 minutes.
- Add pineapple / orange juice and red wine and heat thoroughly.
- Remove lemon slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice before serving.
- Serve warm.
