Chuck Wagon Barbecue Sauce

2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz each) 1 onion, chopped 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. pepper 3 t. sugar 2 T. wine vinegar 1 T. lemon juice 1 1/2 t. Worcestershire 1/4 t. hot sauce

Combine all ingredients in a pan and simmer for 30 minutes. Cool. Store in a covered jar in the refrigerator. This sauce is especially good on hamburgers, steaks and chops. Makes 2 cups. Source: Come Into the Kitchen
