Ingredients[]
- 1 large onion,chopped fine
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- ½ tbsp cumin
- ½ tbsp cinnamon
- ¼ tbsp nutmeg
- 20 oz can stewed tomatoes crushed
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
Directions[]
- Cook onion and garlic until tender.
- Stir in chili, paprika, pepper, cumin, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Add tomatoes, water, vinegar, and honey.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened and flavors are blended.
- Serve over pasta
