  1. Fry the bacon in a pan and then using the same oil, sauté the onion.
  2. Mix in the clam, garlic and water and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes.
  3. Add plantains, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Continue cooking over a low heat for a further 15 minutes.
