Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 pound prepared shredded cocoanut
  • A few grains salt


Directions

To prepare this Cocoanut Macaroons Recipe, first beat the whites. Beat in the sugar, adding it a little at a time; then beat very stiff. Stir in the cocoanut, and form into little balls the size of walnuts. Bake on an oiled pan in a slow oven till lightly browned.
