Ingredients[]
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup oil
- a lot of salt
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 3 tbsp. grated coconut
- 1 tbsp. Sultanas ( optional )
- 4 chopped almonds ( optional )
Method[]
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a basin, mix in Sugar, grated coconut, Sultanas and almonds.
- Add milk with a spoon and mix into a light batter. Drop small spoonfuls into boiling hot oil on a slow fire until cooked.
- Drain on greaseproof paper.
