Coffee Punch

1/2 cup instant coffee granules 1 cup sugar 1/2 to 3/4 cup hot water 1/2 gallon soft vanilla ice cream 3 quarts milk Whipped cream, to taste

Mix coffee and sugar and add just enough hot water to dissolve. Chill overnight. In large container, combine softened ice cream, milk and coffee syrup. Top with whipped cream. Must prepare ahead, partially. Can freeze. Makes about 30 cups. Chill overnight. Source: Nancy Smith Schaefer
