- 2 cups shredded green cabbage
- 2 cups shredded red cabbage
- 2 cups peeled, shredded carrots
- 2 cups shredded celery root or daikon
- 1 cup diced red onion
- 1 cup dried currants or raisins
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper

- 1 cup soy or regular mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp prepared white horseradish
- 2 tsp rice vinegar or balsamic vinegar
- 1½ tsp dijon mustard
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
