Crab Fettuccine

6 oz. fettuccine 1/4 cup butter or margarine 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 cup white lump crab meat 1 cup half and half 1/8 t. black pepper 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain. Saute garlic in butter over medium heat until garlic is lightly browned. Either break up the crab meat into flakes or leave in bite size chunks. Add half and half, crabmeat and pepper. Heat about 3 minutes or until mixture just begins to bubble, stirring occasionally. Add Parmesan cheese; stir for 1 minute. If sauce becomes too thick, add 1/4 cup water. Remove from heat and toss with fettuccine. Serve at once., adding more Parmesan cheese, if desired.
