Cream-style Sweet Corn Soup

Ingredients

• 1 can cream style corn (450 grams)
• 4 cups clear vegetable stock
• 2 tablespoons cornflour mixed with ¼ cup water
• 1/2 teaspoon Ajinomoto powder (optional)
• 1/2 teaspoon soya sauce
• salt to taste
• To serve
• Chillies in vinegar
• chilli sauce
• soya sauce

Directions

1. Boil the stock, add the cream style corn and mix well.
2. Allow it to come to a boil.
3. Add the cornflour paste, Ajinomoto, soya sauce and salt and simmer for a few minutes.
4. Serve hot with the chillies in vinegar, chilli sauce and soya sauce.
