Serve warm with mamaliga (polenta) or other side dish.

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan and toss the mushrooms in it to coat them.
  2. Season lightly with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Dust the mushrooms with flour, mix.
  5. Pour the sour cream mixed with water and minced garlic.
  6. Cover and simmer for 5 more minutes.
