Place the chops on red beans and rice, and serve with a simple green salad.
Ingredients[]
- 2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 (6-ounce) bone-in center-cut pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
- Cooking spray
Directions[]
- Combine first 5 ingredients; rub spice mixture over both sides of pork.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat.
- Add pork; cook 4 minutes on each side or until done.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 pork chop)
