Ingredients[]
- 4 quarts water (2 quarts for soaking, 2 for the soup)
- 1½ cups black beans
- 2 yellow onions, chopped
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- a pinch oregano
- 1 tbsp prepared mustard
- 1 bunch chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper, to taste
