Cunningham Estate Kiwifruit Bread

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cunningham Estate in Seven Points, Texas in 1999.

Ingredients

• ¼ cup liquid honey
• ⅓ cup vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 1½ cups whole-wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 cup kiwifruit pulp

Directions

1. Beat honey, oil and egg well.
2. Sift flour, spices, baking powder and salt and add to oil mixture then lightly stir in remaining ingredients and spoon into oiled loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
3. Allow to cool.
