  1. Grind the cloves, cinnamon, cardomoms, red peppers, pepper in a spice mill.
  2. Purée the Onion and set aside.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
  4. Bring the oil to medium heat in a pan.
  5. Add the ginger and garlic and fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Next add the Onion purée, ground spices as well as the pepper and turmeric.
  7. Mix well and fry for another 5 minutes.
  8. Add the tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes turn soft.
  9. Now add the Mushrooms and Peas and stir well.
  10. Mix in a cup of water, turn the heat to medium low and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  11. Garnish with cilantro and serve.
