Makes 6 servings per rice mix.

  1. Combine rice, raisins, apples, onion, bouillon granules and curry powder.
  2. Divide rice mix equally into each of four air-tight containers or plastic bags (makes 4 rice mixes).

Preparation instructions Edit

  1. Combine 1 rice mix, 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (optional) in 2 to 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice.
  2. Lower heat to simmer; cover with tight-fitting lid. Cook 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  3. Fluff with fork.
