Ingredients[]
- 1 bottle of catsup
- 1 bottle of chile sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ¼ cup vinegar or lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- ¼ lb oleo (1 stick)
- 1 medium onion chopped fine
- 1 or 2 Tbsp liquid smoke
Directions[]
- Combine ingredients (except the oleo, onion and liquid smoke) and put on stove and let simmer
- In another pan combine the oleo and onion, let simmer until onion becomes almost mush
- Strain onion and oleo into first mixture
- Spoon to work it through.
- Add Liquid smoke to taste
