APPLE DUMPLINGS THE EASY WAY
Syrup: Approx. 2 c. water Sugar and corn syrup to taste
Mix in saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to a boil. Remove and set aside.
Use a box of Pillsbury pie crust.
Quarter both crusts, rolling each quarter out on a floured surface with rolling pin. Place a handful of peeled and cored quartered apples on each rolled dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, placing a pat of butter on top. Rap and form dough around apples; place in a cake pan. Pour syrup over the top, about 1/2 inch in pan.
Bake 45 minutes or until brown at 375 degrees.
