After the last of the sangria has been poured, enjoying the wine-infused orange wedges is a special treat.

  1. Combine 1/2 cup wine, brandy, liqueur, and sugar in a 2-quart glass measure.
  2. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute or until mixture is warm; stir to dissolve sugar.
  3. Stir in remaining wine, juices, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon.
  4. Chill at least 2 hours.
  5. Strain mixture into a pitcher, and discard spices.
  6. Just before serving, stir in sparkling water and remaining ingredients.

Yield: 8 servings (serving size: about 3/4 cup)
