Festive Tomato Wedges

2/3 cup oil 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 1/4 cup snipped parsley 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion 2 T. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1 clove garlic, minced 1 t. salt 1 t. dried dill weed 1 t. dried basil, crushed 1/4 t. dried oregano, crushed 1/4 t. pepper 6 medium tomatoes, cored and cut into wedges

In screw top jar, mix all ingredients except tomatoes. Cover and shake. Put tomato wedges in bowl. Pour marinade over all. Stir gently. Cover. Chill several hours stirring once. using a slotted spoon to remove tomatoes, arrange on platter. Spoon remaining marinade into bowl or a hollowed out tomato cup. Serves 8 Source: My Old Recipes
