Fettuccine Verde

8 oz. green fettuccine noodles 6 T. butter 1 cup green onions, finely sliced 2 garlic clove, minced 1 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (fresh is best) Dash ground nutmeg Salt and pepper to taste Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles as package directs. Drain well. Melt butter in skillet. Add onions and garlic, cook, stirring for 2 minutes. Add cream and cook until bubbling. Add hot noodles to pan, stir gently with two forks. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the noodles are well coated. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir and serve at once.
