Fiesta Spread

1 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1 garlic clove, minced 1 t. salt 1 T. chili powder 1/2 t. ground cumin 2 T. catsup 1 can refried beans (16 oz) Liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste 2 oz. sharp natural cheddar cheese, grated (about 1/2 cup) Sliced stuffed olives, optional Ritz crackers

Brown beef with next 3 ingredients. Drain fat. Add next 4 ingredients. Mash in beans. Heat, stirring frequently. Add liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste. Garnish with cheese and if desired, sliced olives. Serve warm with Ritz crackers. Makes 3 1/2 cups spread Source: My Old Recipes
