Ingredients
• ground white meat chicken 1 pound
• low-fat milk 1/2 cup
• coarse to fine freshbread crumbs , divided 2 cups
• gratedsweet onion – finely chopped 3 tablespoons
• olive oil 1 teaspoon
• cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon
• coarse grained salt 3/4 teaspoon
• Cracked black pepper to taste
Method of preparation
1. Mix the minced chicken with ½ cup bread crumbs. ½ cup milk along with salt pepper and cayenne with a rubber spatula
2. Place the remaining bread crumbs in a baking tray or a sheet.
3. Divide the chicken mixture into 4 to 5 lumps as you please and shape them into patties.
4. Coat the patties thoroughly with the crumbs
5. Hear a pan or an iron skillet with the olive oil over medium heat.
6. fry patties until they are golden brown and the insides are thoroughly cooked.
7. Let it rest for a few minutes (up to 5 minutes) and serve it placing it in between two halves of fresh brioche or any type of burger bun
You could also get creative with the contents of the burger you could slather some aioli or butter to the buns and top the pattie with some lettuce, onions, tomatoes and some pickles.
