  • Makes 4 cups.



  1. Combine berries, water and sugar in a 2-quart bowl; set aside.
  2. Stir 2 tbsp water and flour together until smooth.
  3. Transfer berry mixture to a large saucepan.
  4. Place on burner and bring to a boil, stirring often.
  5. Stir flour mixture into blueberry mixture.
  6. Cook 1 minute over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
  7. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
  8. Cool for about ½ hour.
  9. Chill.
  10. Serve over pound cake.
