  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook green beans for 5 to 6 minutes until just tender.
  3. Drain well.
  4. In the same pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  5. Add green beans, herb vinegar, salt and pepper; stir to coat.
  6. Cook for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  7. Toss with basil and serve immediately.
