  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In 13 x 9 1/2 x 3-inch pan place Sugar and water.
  2. Cook in oven 5 minutes.
  3. Take shortcake dough (see recipe for stir 'n roll dough); roll between sheets of waxed paper to 6x12-inch oblong.
  4. Remove top paper.
  5. Spread with 3 cups chopped fruit; dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Roll up, starting with the wide side; pinch together to seal.
  7. Cut in 1 1/2-inch slices and place in pan of hot syrup.
  8. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
  10. Alternatively - place fruit in syrup; cover with squares of dough and bake.
