Strawberry loves entertaining her friends at her gazebo garden house, particularly since it has a grill. And grills aren't just for savory foods! They also work for delicious desserts, like this banana split made with grilled cinnamon-sugar bananas topped with chocolate syrup, condensed milk, strawberry ice cream, roasted peanuts, and whipped cream.

  1. To make Ice Cream: Purée strawberries with sugar in a food processor.
  2. Using a chilled bowl and beaters, whip cream to stiff peaks.
  3. Fold in strawberry purée.
  4. Chill purée mixture at least 6 hours up to overnight.
  5. Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
  6. To make Bananas: Heat charcoal grill, gas grill, or grill pan over high heat.
  7. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  8. Brush Bananas with canola oil, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  9. Grill Bananas, cut-side down, 3 minutes.
  10. Flip and grill 5 more minutes.
  11. To assemble: Peel Bananas, cut in half crosswise, then place four quarters each in two ice cream bowls.
  12. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and condensed milk and top with peanuts, a generous scoop of Ice Cream, and whipped cream.
  13. Serve.
