Beef goulash

  1. Cut beef into 2 cm cubes.
  2. Melt lard, add onions, and cook until transparent.
  3. Add beef cubes and cook until brown and juice is absorbed.
  4. Add spices, salt and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle on the flour and keep mixing until brown, but not burned.
  6. Add hot water enough to cover meat and simmer until tender.
  7. Add the pepper.
  8. More wine may be added during cooking if necessary.
