Haitian Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

• 1 c. milk
• 1/2 tsp. ginger
• 1 c. pumpkin, pureed
• 2 Tbs. baking powder
• 1/4 c. Sugar
• 6 1/2 c. flour
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/2 c. warm water
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 c. butter

Directions

1. Mix together milk, pureed pumpkin, butter, Sugar, warm water, and eggs.
2. Sift together the dry ingredients and mix in with the liquid mixture.
3. Pour into greased loaf pans and cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
