Hollywood Popcorn

1 cup slivered almonds 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) 2 T. snipped chives 2 t. ground cumin 1/2 t. cayenne pepper 2 quarts freshly popped popcorn

Preheat oven to 350. Place almonds in an even layer on a baking sheet and toast until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Melt the butter in a small skillet and stir in the chives, cumin and cayenne. Place popcorn in a serving bowl and add the almonds. Pour butter mixture over and toss well to coat. Add salt to taste and serve. Makes 2 quarts. Note: Popcorn and movies go hand in hand, so it seem sonly natural to munch it while watching the Oscars. Source: Unknown
