Homemade yeast rolls made with cake mix

Ingredients Edit

  • 2 pkg. granulated yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 pkg. white Jiffy cake mix
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cups flour or more

Directions Edit

  1. Mix yeast and water.
  2. Leave set long enough for yeast to dissolve.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Mix.
  5. Let rise to double, punch down.
  6. Make rolls, let rise to double again and bake at 325°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Butter tops when taken out of the oven.
