  • This recipe yields about 1 cup of vinaigrette.

  1. Place bacon pieces in medium saucepan; place over medium heat.
  2. Fry bacon until crisp; add water and vinegar.
  3. Heat to simmering.
  4. Meanwhile beat egg in small bowl; add sugar, flour and salt.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add to mixture in saucepan.
  7. Bring to boil, stirring constantly;cook until thickened.
