- 8 fresh California avocados – ripe
- ¼ cup onion – finely chopped
- 1 tomato – large, diced
- ½ cup green chile – chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers – minced
- 1 garlic clove – minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt to taste
- Cut the avocados and remove pits.
- Scoop out the flesh and mash with a fork until coarsely mixed.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap snugly against the mixture and chill.
