Ingredients
- 3 cups unbleached flour (all-purpose)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 1 cup golden raisins or black raisins
- 1/4 cup egg Beaters egg substitute
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk or soured milk
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Directions
- Whisk together flour,baking powder,baking soda, splenda and raisins.
- In separate bowl whisk together egg beater,buttermilk and melted butter.
- Quickly stir wet ingredients into dry ingred.
- Pour batter into greased 9x5" loaf pan.
- Bake bread in preheated 375 °F oven 45 minutes to an hour.
