Cook Time: About 15 minutes to prepare, 20–30 minutes to marinate before serving
- 4 medium fresh tomatoes
- 5-6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
1.Cut the tomatoes in thin wedges or slices and spread them out in a wide, shallow bowl.
2.Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over tomatoes.
3.Baste the tomatoes with the dressing by tilting the dish and spooning it over the tomatoes repeatedly. Marinate 20–30 minutes before serving.
