Kahlua Pecan Brie

1/4 cup Kahlua or any coffee flavored liqueur 3/4 cup pecans, toasted and chopped 3 t. brown sugar 1 mini Brie round (14 to 16 oz) crackers or mini toast

Mix Kahlua, pecans and brown sugar in a small bowl. Lightly scrape the white coating off the rind of the Brie. Place Brie on an oven safe dish and spoon the Kahlua topping over the top. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10 to 15 minutes just until soft and Brie begins to ooze. Serve with crackers or toast. Small bottles (airline serving size, about 3 T) of liqueur can be purchased at most liquor stores. Toasting nuts add crispness and intensifies the flavor. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet or pan.. Preheat oven to 350. Place pan in oven and bake 5 to 10 minutes, or until nuts release their aroma. Be careful not to burn. You can toast a larger amount than needed and freeze extras up to 1 year in a tightly sealed container. Four oz. of nuts equals about 1 cup. Source: Confessions of a Kitchen Diva
