In Romanian: Rinichi cu smantana
Ingredients
- 1 Beef or 2 Veal or Pork kidneys (approx 1 1/4 lbs/600 g),
- 1 small Onion,
- 1 tablespoon butter,
- 1 cup sour cream,
- 1 level teaspoon flour,
- 1/2 cup meat broth,
- salt
Directions
- Prepare the kidneys as for Kidney Dish.
- Fry the Onion with the butter until yellow, add flour, mix, then add meat broth.
- To this sauce, add sour cream, salt and kidney pieces.
- Simmer until the kidneys are done.
