Kitchen Pepper

1/4 lb. cracked black pepper 1 oz. grated nutmeg 1 oz. ground allspice 1 oz. ground ginger 1 oz. grated mace 1/2 oz. cayenne pepper 1/2 oz. ground cloves

Mix together the pepper, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, mace, cayenne and cloves. Put in a tightly covered jar. The mixture will keep for several months if stored in a cool dark place. Use as a seasoning for ground beef or sausage or on potatoes or white fleshed fish, or rub on roasts and stuffing. Makes 1 1/2 cups Source: My Old Recipes
