  1. Brown onions in butter (or butter) and cool.
  2. Grate potatoes, add eggs, milk and butter with onions, also salt.
  3. Add flour and mix well.
  4. Bake in 400°F oven until brown (about 1⅓ to 1¼ hours).
  5. Enjoy with sour cream if so desired.
