Kyarzan-Chek (Bean vermicelli soup) is a soup with a distinctive taste. This recipe makes 4 servings.

  1. Fry the garlic, onion, fish sauce and chili powder in cooking oil for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken, mushrooms, fish cake, onions and 2 quarts of water and boil for 15 minutes.
  3. Add the bean vermicelli (bean thread) and pepper.
  4. Boil in low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve sprinkled with green onion.
