Cabbage Rice

  1. Wash the cabbage and cut it in slices.
  2. Slice the onion and saute it in the oil.
  3. Add the slices of cabbage and stir.
  4. Add 2 cups of water.
  5. Add the fresh tomatoe sauce and stir again.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes and then add the rice.
  7. Cook until the rice is ready and the water is absorbed.
  8. Add salt and pepper as appropriate.
  9. Cabbage rice is served either hot or cold with some lemon juice on its top.
