Slice the apple while the chops cook.

  1. Heat a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat.
  2. Add lamb chops, and cook 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  3. Remove lamb chops from pan, and keep warm.
  4. Add butter to pan, scraping pan to loosen browned bits.
  5. Add apple; sauté 5 minutes.
  6. Add brown sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, and cloves; cook 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
  7. Serve with lamb.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 2 chops and about 1/2 cup apples)
