  1. Mix everything together and marinate for 1 to 1½ hours.
  2. This distributes flavors and tenderizes meat.
  3. Put 4 pieces of lamb alternating with onion quarters on each metal skewers.
  4. Grill over charcoal, traditional method, for 10 minutes, or to taste: rare, medium, or well-done.
  5. Serve warm.
