French Dressing as served at le St. Germain in Hollywood

- Makes 1 cup
Ingredients[]
- ½ tbsp salt
- ½ tbsp pepper
- ¼ tbsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp hot dry mustard
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp red wine
- 10 tbsp peanut oil
Directions[]
- Mix salt, pepper, white pepper, and mustards and mix well.
- Add vinegar and wine.
- Beat until smooth.
- Gradually add oil and beat until dressing coats a metal spoon.
- The consistency should not be too thin or too thick.
- Serve with cold vegetables or salad greens.
